Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Bot Analytics. By creating an account or installing our script you agree to them.

The service

Bot Analytics identifies bot and human traffic on websites you own, lets you allow, throttle or block individual bots, protects forms against automated submissions, and reports on what AI crawlers can read from your pages.

Your account

  • You must provide accurate contact details and keep your credentials secure
  • You may only install the script on websites you own or are authorised to manage
  • You are responsible for all activity carried out with your API keys

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service to collect personal data about individual visitors
  • Do not resell or redistribute the service without a written agreement
  • Do not attempt to overload, reverse engineer or circumvent plan limits

Plans, limits and billing

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of tracked events, a number of websites, and a number of AI page audits. A soft overage is permitted above the included allowance; sustained usage beyond the hard cap will pause ingestion until the next billing month or until you upgrade. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled and are billed in advance. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current period.

Availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Detection and blocking decisions are made on a best-effort basis; no bot detection system is perfect and the service should form one layer of your protection, not the only one.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue from traffic that was blocked or allowed by a rule you configured.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or that place the platform at risk, and will tell you why where we are able to.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the dashboard before they take effect.
